LED Light Tubes

How to Choose the Right LED Tube Light

LED Tubes are used when you need a light source that fits the correct socket or fixture format. Start by checking the socket, voltage, and physical dimensions. After that, lumens are a better measure of light output than just comparing watts. The color temperature also affects the experience: warmer light is often used where a softer feel is desired, while neutral or cooler light may be better suited for work environments.

When switching from older technology to LED, the fixture's design can influence your choice. Check if the light source is compatible with existing drivers, ballasts, or other electronics, and follow the product's installation instructions. If dimming is important, ensure both the light source and dimmer are designed to work together.

LED tubes in various types of fixtures

Compare LED tube options by lumen output, color temperature, dimming capability, and size. This helps you find an LED solution that fits your existing fixture without compromising the light quality you need. Consider the entire installation in your planning to make it easier to choose the right product and accessories from the start.
