Smart luminaires

Build smart control with Smart luminaires

Smart luminaires can give more flexible control of lighting and other compatible devices. Before you choose a product, check which protocol is used and whether the system needs a gateway, a specific app or another controller. That way you avoid buying components that cannot communicate with each other.

Compatibility before extra features

Smart features can include everything from simple on/off control and dimming to schedules, scenes and automation. What is possible varies between products. For fixed installations, voltage, load and electrical connection also need to match the equipment being controlled.

Automation that can be expanded

The advantage of Smart luminaires is that the installation can be planned around how you actually want to use it. Start with the most important functions and choose compatible components, so it is easier to expand the system later without rebuilding everything from scratch. Include the whole installation in the planning – then it is easier to choose the right product and accessories from the start.
