R7s

How to choose the right R7s

R7s is used when you need a light source that fits the right cap or fixture format. Start by checking the cap, voltage and physical dimensions. After that, lumens are a better measure of light output than comparing watts alone. Colour temperature also affects the experience: warmer light is often used where a softer feel is wanted, while more neutral or cooler light can work better in work environments.

Luminous flux, colour temperature and compatibility

When switching from older technology to LED, the fixture design can affect the choice. Check whether the lamp should be used with an existing driver, ballast or other electronics and follow the product’s installation instructions. If dimming is important, both the lamp and the dimmer must be intended to work together.

R7s in various types of fixtures

In the R7s category you can compare options by luminous flux, colour temperature, dimming and format. That makes it easier to find an LED solution that fits the existing fixture without compromising the light pattern you need. Compare the models in the category and start from the application rather than price or a single specification alone.
